As the lead agency for the local Ryan White Part B (RWPB) program since 1992, BASIC is committed to providing and coordinating a comprehensive range of treatment, care, and support services to individuals with HIV within our six-county area 2A, which includes Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, and Washington counties.
Clients may be eligible for the following services:

- Medical Case Management, including Treatment Adherence

- Linguistic

- Substance Abuse (Residential)
- AIDS Pharmaceutical Assistance (LPAP, CPAP)
- Health Insurance Premium and Cost Sharing Assistance
Eligible clients receive in-house services at BASIC, including Medical and Non-medical Case Management Services, Housing Assistance, AIDS Pharmaceutical Assistance, Health Insurance Premium and Cost Sharing Assistance, as well as Psychosocial or Group Support. Additionally, we facilitate linkage to primary health care and HIV medical care and treatment services through our network of partner providers.
Requirements
To be eligible, all clients seeking RWPB program services must meet the following documentation requirements:
- Proof of HIV Status;
- Proof of Residency in Florida;
- Not participating in local, state, or federal programs where the same types of services are provided or available;
- Low income less than or equal to 400% of the Federal Poverty Level; and
- Willingness to cooperate and provide truthful information
