Personal Hygiene and Care
BASIC NWFL dedicates itself to meeting the needs of its clients. Over the years, we have consistently received donations in the form of personal hygiene and care products from local community partners. These items have proven invaluable to our clients, not only for maintaining personal hygiene but also for enhancing their mental well-being, self-esteem, and social interactions. They provide the motivation and confidence needed to attend appointments and engage with others. We strive to secure funding to purchase additional items to meet these needs. If you are interested in contributing to this mission, please contact Ciara Davis at 850-772-6812.
Food Pantry
Access to nutritious food is a cornerstone of health. For individuals living with HIV, it is vital to maintain treatment adherence, stay engaged in care, and achieve long-term wellness.
Our Food Pantry Program’s main goal is to ensure that no client has to choose between their health and their next meal. The program provides nonperishable food items and staples at no cost to all clients who are receiving Case Management services.
To effectively manage our limited resources, we currently limit food distributions to once per month, and each client will receive a bag of food.
We are deeply grateful for United Way of Northwest Florida’s 2025 Community Impact Funds grant that allowed us to expand our capacity with a new storage refrigerator and increased food supplies.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the past and current supporters for their impactful donations.
Your support directly strengthens the health and well-being of our community.
